    Cite Unseen September 2025 updates

    [edit]

Hello! Thank you for using Cite Unseen. We are excited to share details about a big update we just deployed. With grant support from Wikimedia CH, we've added several new features, including a citation filtering dashboard, settings dialog, support for localization, and the ability to easily suggest domain categorizations. Cite Unseen now also lives on Meta Wiki, as part of our effort to serve all Wikimedia projects. Our source lists are now also on Meta-Wiki, where they can be collaboratively edited by the community.

Please see our newsletter on Meta-Wiki for full details. If you have feature ideas, notice any issues with our new updates, or have any questions, please get in touch via our project talk page. Thank you!

    Stub/rating reminder

    [edit]

Hey, @Brianda (Wiki Ed)! I was being a bit of a wiki-stalker and just trolling through people's contributions and saw that you were chopping down articles that had LLM-generated content (THANK YOU!!!) but you were leaving improper rating templates in the article's talk page and putting down a stub template. I always play a rule of thumb is if that the article has no "meat" (text) on the bone, then its more of a stub. As in like one line sentences in the lead, one line sentences in every section (like what most insect/animal stubs have). If there is more than the most basic information than it's more of a low-start class article.

I also saw that when you were putting the stub templates down that you were spacing it. That's no longer needed per WP:STUBSPACING and WT:Stub#Replace double-blank-line method with CSS. Thank you again, Cowboygilbert - (talk) ♥ 02:08, 23 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Cowboygilbert, Thank you for this! I will apply this moving forward. Appreciate you. Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:16, 23 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

    Hello.

    I need help with...

creating a bibliography. I don't understand the template, nor do I know the difference between the references and bibliography sections.
