Samuel Chatto edits

[edit]

Hi, I greatly appreciate the work you did on Samuel Chatto's article, but I decided to revert it for a couple reasons:

I'm currently trying to nominate the article for WP:DYK, which you can view the nomination here. As such, I want the article to be in tip top shape so it can be seen on the main page. I agree that the section headers do look nicer and make the article easier to navigate, but in terms of sourcing it's not necessary and just complicates things; considering how short the article is, it's pretty much repeating a lot of the same info (line of succession, family, background, etc). It also has to be completely sourced properly, and some things you added (such as the middle name and church) I couldn't find a reliable source for.

I really did not want to do this, I'm going to go back and put back in the hospital with that ref. I especially don't like reverting good faith newcomers, so I wanted to explain why I did such to you personally. You did nothing wrong, but I think the way the article was beforehand was more appropriate given the criticism on the article from the nomination. I can go into further detail if you want, and I once again apologize since I know you took time to make those edits, but I hope you can understand. sorry for the blabber.
