Your submission at Articles for creation: Hannah L. Smith (October 24)
[edit]
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Your draft shows signs of having been generated by a large language model, such as ChatGPT. Their outputs usually have multiple issues that prevent them from meeting our guidelines on writing articles. These include:
The comment the reviewer left was:
- Promotional tone, editorializing and other words to watch
- Vague, generic, and speculative statements extrapolated from similar subjects
- Essay-like writing
- Hallucinations (plausible-sounding, but false information) and non-existent references
- Close paraphrasing
The article appears to be written using LLM since many of the links no longer work or are incorrectly described.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
The second issue relates to notability. There is a concept for WP:BLP1E and one test is that if the lawsuit had not happened, would the subject still be notable. The test there is WP:BASIC where we are ideally looking for 3 profiles from independent sources covering the subject's life in depth. And that's not present. It would be unusual for an individual with this profile to get an entry.
Amazon, as a corporate bookseller, cannot be used as a source. It can be used in External Links.
If the submitting editor has a connection to the subject then the following needs to be followed - WP:COI- If you would like to continue working on the submission, go to Draft:Hannah L. Smith and click on the "Edit" tab at the top of the window.
- If you do not edit your draft in the next 6 months, it will be considered abandoned and may be deleted.
