Speedy deletion nomination of Tandy corperation
[edit]
A tag has been placed on Tandy corperation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Citation needed for Brotli compression's effectiveness?
[edit]On 09-Mar-2024, you added a citation needed tag to the intro section of the article on Brotli compression, for the claim that "it [Brotli] provides better compression than gzip".
The application section contains cited claims that "Brotli compression is generally used as an alternative to gzip on the web, as Brotli provides better overall compression.[cite] Compared to gzip compression, JavaScript files compressed with Brotli are roughly 15% smaller, HTML files are around 20% smaller, and CSS files are around 16% smaller.[cite]"
It seems to me that those citations support the claim you tagged. Do you disagree? Would moving those cites up to the intro section address your concern? Is there something else here I'm missing? Thanks! DaBunny42 (talk) 16:37, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
- Yeah must have missed that, I guess. AtlasDuane (talk) 20:32, 23 May 2025 (UTC)
