John Junior
[edit]I'm sorry, but the more I look at the John Junior article, both before and after your changes, the more of a dumpster fire it seems to be. The notability concerns brought up on the talk page remain, but the very large number of sources means it will take a major effort to go through all of them in detail. I cannot say that the neutrality of the article is definitely improved by your edits. If I were to suggest (WP:TNT) blowing up the article, the first step would be to identify the sources that are almost entirely interviews and take them out as well as anything sourced to them. Depending on what was left, I would want to see if it would be possible to construct an article that described accomplishments that would qualify as significant (not quite the same criterion as notable). The other possibility might be to subject it to the refining fire of AfD, the outcome of which can never be certain. But that's my assessment at this point. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 01:23, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hello, I understand now that the quantity of sources isn't the issue, it's the type and the way they're used. You're right that many of the references lean heavily on interviews or personal perspective, and I can see how that undermines neutrality and notability under Wikipedia standards. I will go through the article and remove interview based sources and thanks for your help and time. Applesandpears20 (talk) 11:18, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
