ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:59, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Hotwiki. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, The Voice Kids (Philippine TV series), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hotwiki (talk) 11:45, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm currently watching the livestream premiere of The Voice Kids on its YouTube channel, and it clearly said the official team name. Watch it yourself, and let that page be uniform with the other pages of The Voice Kids in other countries. Just saying. Thank you. Anthony1520Jones (talk) 12:18, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not using third party references

[edit]

Per Wikipedia:Independent sources. "Identifying and using independent sources (also called third-party sources) helps editors build non-promotional articles that fairly portray the subject, without undue attention to the subject's own views. Using independent sources helps protect the project from people using Wikipedia for self-promotion, personal financial benefit, and other abuses or violations. Reliance on independent sources ensures that an article can be written from a balanced, disinterested viewpoint rather than from the subject's own viewpoint or from the viewpoint of people with an ax to grind."

I suggest you refrain from using gmanetwork.com as a reference to articles directly related to GMA Network and their shows, like The Clash. The season articles for The Clash are recently deleted due to lack of independent and reliable sources.

Then what should be the necessary reference to be considered since the network's website and local newscast have confirmed it? Anthony1520Jones (talk) 13:30, 5 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]
