Hi there! Welcome to editing! I noticed you were diving in editing various pages, so I wanted to stop by and explain a couple of my follow-up edits.

WP:LEAD There are guidelines around how we characterize the first few sentences of an articles (since some people only read that!). We aim to be balanced and exceedingly neutral in the first sentence, ensure we're making a fair characterization based on the braoder article. You'll see that I disagreed with a lead or two that you updated, emphasizing a communist affiliation.

WP:SPA It might appear that you have a specific focus on labeling members of the Abraham Lincoln Brigade as communists, or emphasizing that part of their articles. I want to raise to your attention some of the community guidelines around this type of editing, and the impression it can leave other editors. I don't take issue with all of your edits (e.g., adding 'Soviet-backed' in balance of 'Nazi-backed' when characterizing the Spanish Civil War), but I have jumped in to course correct where I think it's been unnecessary. There's also a line between WP:SPA and WP:ADVOCACY that I want to bring up early on, in case this is relevant.

I hope you understand the motivations around some of my follow-up edits. I didn't want you to think that I'm hounding on your edits -- we're both trying to build an encyclopedia! :)
