ANI
[edit]You were about to talk yourself into a problem. Editors are entitled to disagree with you, and they are entitled to remove content they feel is not necessary, is inappropriate, or is insufficiently referenced or justified. You are not entitled to assert that they are vandals, nor are you entitled to define the terms of a discussion at ANI, in which you own actions may be examined. If you are determined to ignore advice, we are not going to waste our time on a matter that clearly doesn't concern ANI, whether you think so or not. We are not required to explain this to you until the end of time. Acroterion (talk) 15:34, 1 November 2025 (UTC)
- Editors are entitled to disagree with you, and they are entitled to remove content they feel is not necessary, is inappropriate, or is insufficiently referenced or justified.
- I completely agree. Of course, this isn't what happened. I would just like to gently remind you that neither Binksternet nor TheAmazingPeanuts believed that the content they were removing (beside the infobox parameter) was not necessary, inappropriate, or insufficiently referenced or justified. TheAmazingPeanuts was removing it simply because it had been removed by Binksternet, and Binksternet removed it without reading it because of who wrote it.
- I actually have no interest in editing Ready '24 further, as a compromise was already achieved; I removed the parameter that was being disputed, and Binksternet seems to have no interest in continuing the talk page discussion. I simply started the ANI thread on the off-chance that there would be some kind of acknowledgement of the issue. In reality, I expected that the responding admins would misrepresent all of my points, which is exactly what happened. 2A00:23C8:F11A:7801:E95C:2CE7:6036:F1B6 (talk) 15:39, 1 November 2025 (UTC)
