User:Theeverywhereperson

Hi! I'm Theeverywhereperson because, well, I'm everywhere. I joined Wikipedia in November of 2024 under the name Justhereforresearch, but I recently changed my username to my signature. I really like just going around Wikipedia and making small random changes but only if they benefit the community. I can also intervene in Wikipedia arguments if I think it is necessary, but I just decide to voice my opinion sometimes.

comic albums and books about Tintin.
This user is autistic.
This user comes from Uganda.

I can sometimes be lurking around Wikipedia, like more recently, when I browsed Formula 1 pages. I happen to own a Nintendo Switch. If there are any suggestions you would like to make (for example, edits to make or suggested pages to make, maybe even a draft page for me to review), please talk to me on my talk page. I do not plan to retire in the near future, so if I am not taking a wikibreak, you are very likely to get a response. You can also see what I have done in my contributions page which I just linked.

I also find it very funny that I not only dared, but actually went up against an admin with >120000 edits, which is also really funny since I was a new user at the time, and I think I should be proud of myself. (Please note that the argument has been archived on the talk page I linked.) It was a pretty one-sided argument as I was outnumbered and we were literally going around in circles,[1] (once again, go down to the second section and see for yourself) but i personally refused to end it and kept it in potentially infinite attrition so that I could try and make sure it got an article again.

I have also started to go and check around for vandalism by using the special page RecentChanges and using a filter by highlighting the changes based on how likely they are to be bad. I called it VandalismChecker, but I think you may know how it looks like already, before I even have to tell you. This has mainly overtaken my former job at random page patrol.

I will also be using the temporary account ~2025-31965-81 if I end up on a wikibreak and I make a slight typo and it ends, say, an hour later, i will use that account.

I also sometimes find myself watching (or keeping track of) football matches/competitions with Uganda in them. This used to be unintentional but now I really do care. But however, I am not that obsessed with the team and do not plan to watch their matches 24/7 because I have other things to do, like editing Wikipedia or other productive things.

Right before I changed my username, I created this new page and all my signatures also link here instead as a precaution right before it changed. If you just happen to view this when you try to contact me and you realise my username hasn't changed, communication might not work.* I also particularly like editing current events. I plan to begin an expansion of Luganda Wikipedia because I am a Ugandan, but I don't expect that to happen for some time because I need to first become an extended confirmed user to translate English pages into other languages. I am also an avid reader in real life and particularly like reading books that have new installments like the Asterix books for example. One of the other things I plan to do is get language exclusive pages like the one for the upcoming Asterix book [note 1] and translate it to English. I also will generally try to get involved in creating digital media and stuff, but otherwise I am still your average Wikipedia user. I recently passed 200 edits and I am on my way up, hence why I put up that userbox as a counter. I also have to note that I also had another now abandoned account that I will not use again called Dosomething781besomeone787 (you can see with that one I never bothered to make a user page) made in May of last year that I do not plan to use ever, so I also have to mention that. I watch Formula 1 all the time but I have never gotten to the World Championship table fast enough to put in the results. I think that is quite annoying and would like to know who keeps getting there before I do. Under this paragraph I will give some updates.

Update 1: I know I said above that I need 500 edits to use the translator tool, but these rules seemingly do not apply to Luganda Wikipedia and I can use it freely there. If anyone notices that I am literally conjuring Luganda Wikipedia pages out of nowhere, that is because I plan to simply expand the aforementioned Wikipedia.[My dad even recommended it, and my whole family speaks Luganda.] (I hope you weren't fooled by my fake link.)

Update 2: Some people may have been led here from Simple English Wikipedia[2]. This userpage may be more complicated than what they are probably used to. If you are one of those people, then welcome to normal English Wikipedia!

Update 3: As you can see as of July 27th 2025 i reached 200 edits,[3] (linked here, with a citation added) that is why I changed what I said above.

Update 4: *Ignore the above message as my username changed a considerable amount of time ago.

Update 5: I did it! I reached 500 edits! This is a big achievement as I am now getting a new permission, extended confirmed.

Update 6: The page for Asterix in Lusitania is currently listed inside a userspace draft here. It is mostly based of a rough translation by me from the French Wikipedia page and it is definitely not quite done. I will further translate the page and when more information come out, you can edit it and in about a month's time I will move it into article space.

Update 6b: I added some things to the article and made it better and added an infobox, and I have already moved the page into the mainspace.
