About me

[edit]

I think Wikipedia is very important because it is the platform that most people use today to access reliable scientific information. This is why it is crucial that only the results of verified, rigorous research are included. In the field of history in particular, there are significant differences in the various narratives depending on the nation's perspective. In such cases, the information in Wikipedia articles often depends on how many editors from a given country contribute to Wikipedia. The result is often that the historical narrative of the country in question appears as 'reliable' information rather than the historical truth. Wikipedia's role should be to present the real historical truth or the most likely information, rather than local, majority narratives. However, it should of course give space to less likely theories that are not entirely fantastical, but treat them as such. The emphasis should therefore be on quality rather than quantity. That is my emphasis.
