About me

Hello! I'm Steven Walling. I've been a Wikipedian since 2006 (see my userpage.) In 2010, I joined the Wikimedia Foundation as part of the Fellowships program, and later became a staff member based in San Francisco.

My work

Here at the Foundation, I worked to support the growth and continued health of the volunteer communities that build the projects and fulfill Wikimedia's mission. Specifically, I was the Product Manager for the Growth team, where we build and test new ideas for growing the community of editors. Our team was a part of the broader Engineering & Product Development department.
