Calieb A. Griffith (born June 10, 2009) is an American student and theater technician from Long Island, New York. He has been active in stage production for more than half a decade, working in stage crew, stage management, and set design across several schools and arts programs.
Early life and education
Griffith was born on June 10, 2009, and grew up in Nassau County, New York. He attended Woodmere Middle School, where he began his involvement in theater through stage management. He later enrolled at George W. Hewlett High School, continuing his theater work as a member of the Stage Crew. Griffith also studied technical theater at the Long Island High School for the Arts (LIHSA).
Career in theater
Woodmere Middle School
While attending Woodmere Middle School, Griffith served as Stage Manager for school productions. In this role, he oversaw backstage operations and coordinated between technical and performance teams.
George W. Hewlett High School
At Hewlett High School, Griffith became a prominent member of the Stage Crew, working on multiple school musicals. He contributed to set construction, lighting, and backstage logistics, and eventually took on leadership responsibilities.
Long Island High School for the Arts
Griffith expanded his theater experience at the Long Island High School for the Arts, where he focused on set design. His work included collaborating with fellow students and instructors to create functional and visually effective stage environments.
