Mehrpouya Asadi (Persian: مهرپویا اسدی; born 29 August 1989) is an Iranian football performance and data analyst. He currently serves as the Chief Analyst of the Iran national football team under head coach Amir Ghalenoei.

Career

Asadi began his professional career in football analysis in 2020 with Shahr Khodrou FC, working under head coach Mehdi Rahmati. He later joined Aluminium Arak FC in March 2022, serving as the club’s chief analyst until June 2023. In March 2023, Asadi was appointed as the Chief Analyst of the Iran national football team, a position he continues to hold.

Throughout his career, he has participated in more than 115 official matches across domestic and international levels (35 with Shahr Khodrou FC, 43 with Aluminium Arak FC, and 37 with the Iran national team). His expertise includes GPS-based performance analytics, tactical video analysis, physical data interpretation, and technical match intelligence systems.
