Thanks for looking at my page, although as you will see I'm what you might call a newbie! I am still learning how to do things so I can be more useful. I think I've come a long ways since I joined, but there's still a lot for me to work out. It's now time for me to work on my user page. The question is... why are you still reading this, don't you have something to do?!

To cut a long story short, my daughter is a female fighter. Not only have I seen how hard she has to work to get recognition in a male oriented sport, but I've been completely sucked in by the whole thing. I'm officially now a proud female fight geek. You name it, I like it: MMA, Muaythai, Boxing etc. You might be wondering if I like watching men fight, the answer is yes. I only have limited time available though (as I'm sure you do too), so I have decided to just help out here by adding info to female pages.
There are other topics that I'm interested in such as gardening and Game of Thrones, but working on fighter pages is far more exciting. So that is where you will find me!
My plan is to try and keep track of female fighters that have been added to wiki, and to work through them all from A to Z. Once I'm done, I will start back at A and go through them again (like painting a bridge!). My strategy is..
Pass 1 = Minor updates (so I can get through a larger amount of pages quickly)
Add correct infoboxes
Add info to infoboxes
Add categories
Add "see also" lists
Add external links
Correct disambiguations
Pass 2 = Major updates (I will should be an expert at Wiki by this stage)
