Hi I'm a traveling documentary Wikipedia editor. During my journeys across Thailand, I visit historical sites and temples, and if they lack representation on English Wikipedia, I create articles about them. I also photograph these places and contribute the images to Wikipedia. My passion lies in writing about Thai temples and focusing exclusively on Thailand's rich history—I have no interest in the histories of other countries. I aim to continue making valuable contributions to Wikipedia by highlighting the beauty and significance of Thai culture.

Of course, my main goal is to translate everything about Chiang Mai into English and transform it into Wikipedia articles.

To-do list

[edit]
  • Wat Puak Taem (วัดพวกแต้ม) — Lanna viharn, mixed Mon–Burmese chedi; historic metalwork artisan quarter.
  • Wat Chomphu (วัดชมพู) — inside the old city; listed in the Chiang Mai municipal temples category.
  • Wat Chai Phrakiat (วัดชัยพระเกียรติ) — old city; likely late-Lanna fabric.
  • Wat Chai Si Phum (วัดชัยศรีภูมิ์) — near the moat; little English coverage.
  • Wat Chang Khong (วัดช่างฆ้อง) — “gong-maker” craftsmen heritage implied by name.
  • Wat Chang Taem (วัดช่างแต้ม) — “painter/craftsman” toponym; potential mural/arts angle.
  • Wat Chetawan (วัดเชตวัน) — distinct from Bangkok’s Wat Chetawarn/Chetawan; local Chiang Mai site.
  • Wat Chetuphon (วัดเชตุพน) — local namesake (not Bangkok’s Wat Pho).
  • Wat Dok Kham (วัดดอกคำ) — small historic wat; old city list.
  • Wat Dok Ueang (วัดดอกเอื้อง) — likely late-Rattanakosin rebuilds.
  • Wat Dap Phai (วัดดับภัย) — “extinguishing danger” name; old city site.
  • Wat Nantararam (วัดนันทาราม) — Chiang Mai (not to be confused with same-name wats elsewhere).
  • Wat Pan Ping (วัดป้านปิง; often translit. Wat Pan/Paen Ping) — inner-moat location.
  • Wat Pa Phrao Nai (วัดป่าพร้าวใน) — smaller Lanna compound.
  • Wat Phuak Pia (วัดพวกเปีย) — sister to better-documented Phuak Hong; artisan community potential.
