I like random US elections and other rabbit holes. I spent a bunch of time correcting information on Icelandic buildings, so you're welcome Iceland.

____________

I want to try to spruce up a lot of the articles related to Eastern Orthodoxy in North America (starting with much of the things in the infobox), there are many places of concern. Also a lot of the stuff was in like deeply, deeply, bad conditions (articles not even having the category infobox when they're in the category), so a lot of what I've done is and will be unsaid (look at contribution logs if you want).

Below is my first formal expression of this:

As of August 2025 I'm trying to go through all of the Orthodox seminaries and schools in North America, and I've made pretty good progress because most of those articles were in dire conditions (like they didn't even have the category infoboxes that they were linked to). Done with St. Andrews in Winnipeg for now, still have to do the others. Project started on 8/11/2025. This has kind of diverted to generally working on articles about Eastern Orthodoxy in North America as of 8/16/2025.

Christ the Saviour (Finished by default, it doesn't have a full article)

Hellenic College Holy Cross - a full college as well as a seminary, brookline mass, less to do because there is a real page (add the theology journal and yearbooks - at this point maybe a section or two needs to be redone but it's much better than it was - 10/24/2025)

Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary - ny, to do

St. Andrew's College - Finished 8/12/2025, Winnipeg

Saint Herman Theological Seminary - Alaska, to do

Saint Tikhon's Orthodox Theological Seminary - PA, to do

Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Monastery and Seminary - Illinois, to do

St. Sophia Ukrainian Orthodox Theological Seminary - Mostly finished 8/11/2025, might take a last look

Saint Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary - yonkers, to do

Updated as of 8/12/2025

8/13/2025 - Went through the List of Eastern Orthodox universities and colleges in the United States and brought it up to standard, adding it to the infobox, alphabetizing, adding schools, etc.

8/14/2025 - went through the American Eastern Orthodox Saints page and added a table to have a better page than a barebones list. Spent a day making it on the user page.

8/15/2025 - worked heavily on the page of Olga of Alaska, it is practically a new article, but still there is much left to write about her life. The lede must also be finished, along with sources for her patronages, and possibly an image (but there is hardly any free media).

8/16/2025 - Finished my work (at least for now) with Olga of Alaska. It's actually a real article now!

went on a detour of the bollandists after that.

At some point I spent a day doing a full revamp of the List of American Eastern Orthodox saints.

I kind of got off that but then I was trying to work on Alexei Osipov and Michael Oleksa (both incomplete), now I'm on Seraphim Rose. I've got to get back on the seminaries- 10/13/2025

I also want to add relevant journals to the List of theology journals - 10/15/2025

This became kind of just a general following of what I was doing, obviously things were completed when I just listed that I wanted to work on a certain topic. 10/16/2025

Saw the List of Eastern Orthodox saints, and added some saints, but it is difficult to edit, at least visually due to its size. Maybe it would be worth working on the List of saints in the Russian Orthodox Church, and possibly trying to make that page for each of the patriarchates. There's already one for the Serbian Church, and for readability and editability it might make sense to add more, especially for the canonization heavy churches like Romania. - 10/24/2025

Pages I edited significantly enough that I'll put them here (6/15/2025):

Pierbattista Pizzaballa - Made some pretty significant edits in the run up to the 2025 papal conclave. Sadly there was no pizza pope.

Alexander Karloutsos - Had a lot of information floating around the internet annoyingly enough (no one totally good source) that no one put together a full article with pictures for him even though he won the Medal of Freedom. The picture thing was not helped by the White House intern who spelled his name wrong on one of the only good free photos of him - https://www.flickr.com/photos/whitehouse/52308684253/

Marjan Sekulovski - This was written in literal 2nd grade Eastern European who has no idea what English is supposed to be written as grammar, it was crazy. The article is still terrible but at least it's terrible in correct spelling and grammar. It is so annoyingly detailed.

Articles I mostly or wholly made (9/1/2024):

Garrett Ziegler - hunter biden laptop guy, lot of secondary sources online but no article for some reason, took an old draft and updated it. First article of mine.

I got to extended confirmed on 6/18/2025.
