My name is Carsten Hjorthøj. I was born on July 12 1978 in Denmark, where I'm currently living in Kastrup near Copenhagen. I have also lived in Siena, Italy and in Dublin, Ireland. I am married and a father of beautiful twin girls. I work as a PhD student doing research in the CapOpus project at Bispebjerg Hospital, trying to get people with schizophrenia, schizotypal personality disorder, and other psychoses with a comorbid abuse of cannabis to stop using cannabis. The name Lilac Soul has stuck with me for a long time. I first used it publically in the Neverwinter Nights (NWN) community, where I have earned myself a reputation as a scripter and a developer. Of my creations for the NWN community, my Script Generator has by far been the most popular. My editing is spread out over a number of areas. I work quite a bit on articles related to Denmark, Harry Potter, and to a certain degree psychiatry and statistics and research methods. I participate a lot in articles-for-deletion discussions, and I also have quite a few edits related to vandal-fighting, as I often patrol the recent changes part of Wikipedia - in particular for anonymous users and for newbies. And finally, I just hit the random article button a lot and improve whatever I can improve upon. I also try to fix links to disambiguation pages whenever I come across any (I have a script in my vector.js that highlights such links in a different color), and occasionally I just go to disambiguation pages, click "what links here" and try to fix them all (or at least the ones that I can). |
