LIUC (Milan) Educational Project Autumn/Fall 2025

[edit]

As part of a Year 1 undergraduate course in Digital Technology (LIUC, Milan, Italy), I am working in a supervised student team on a digital publishing project, involving the creation of a new draft page. I am new to the Wikipedia platform and learning to edit following Wikipedia rules, with learning and assessment criteria including topic acceptability, content relevance, linking, style/grammar, sourcing, image use and copyright, use of draft Talk pages, and page formatting.  I will have completed mandatory WikiEd Training for Students modules (evidenced with my exhibits on this user page) and have regular workshops during the project to address any draft editing issues. I am also supported with a course website, help resources, class lectures, a detailed project document and regular tutor feedback via draft Talk pages and team meetings.

I am open to any advice on improvements in my editing skills and draft page content, in conformity to Wikipedia requirements and guidelines, and any help useful for the enhancement of the draft page will be gladly accepted.

There is an educational course page, with all the student user names and draft pages, at: [[1]]

My supervising LIUC tutors are: User:Greentree97 and User:Limelightangel

Example of a Draft Edit for Page "Università Carlo Cattaneo"

[edit]

LIUC University was founded in 1991 with the aim of providing an academic path strongly connected to the local business community.[1] The university is located in Castellanza, in the province of Varese, and is considered a reference point for managerial education in Lombardy.[2]

[edit]

The municipality of San Vittore Olona has been known since 1933 for hosting the international cross-country race called "Cinque Mulini", which takes place every year in January.[3] Thanks to this event, the town has gained worldwide recognition in the field of athletics.[4]
