Goals
[edit]To encourage usage of the full and proper name of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, instead of "Mormon", or "LDS Church" as the Church has requested.[1] I believe that as an information "encyclopedia", the proper name ought to be used to ensure greater accuracy. I propose that we use "the Church", "Church of Jesus Christ", or the “restored Church of Jesus Christ” for shortened terms. This can be achieved by mentioning the full name of the Church and then using "the Church" to continue references
To use Church policy to define Church policy.[2] Using information on what the Church believes to show what the Church believes.[3] This improves clarity and accuracy.
