As a Wikipedia editor, I understand that my goal is the destruction of my purpose.

Greetings, travellers of Wikipedia! Welcome to my userpage! Make yourself comfortable and feel free to explore my user page. I focus on Singapore articles such as the MRT, National monuments, or just anything that captures my interest. You may also see me around GAN, DYK, and FAC. I'm a bit busy with school most of the time so I'm not that active compared to during my school breaks. I'm also active on Wikipedia's Discord server and heavily encourage you to join it, though my DMs are for off-topic discussions (I'll be more than happy to chat with you!). For on-Wiki stuff, please alert me at the appropriate venue.

It should be noted that as a regular contributor of Canadian International School of Singapore, I must disclose that I am associated with the subject and thus have a conflict of interest. As far as I'm aware, my edits to that article have not been detrimental and in line with Wikipedia's COI Policies. As an editor, I strive to edit articles in line with said policies, including subject matter I am closely associated with. If you have any concerns or questions, the please do not hesitate to bring it up to my talk page, I'll be more than happy to answer it! Also I must credit User:History6042 for his layout and I've taken partial inspiration from them (just the page tabs)

There are some bad apples on Wikipedia, but Bad Apple!! will never be a bad apple

I initially created this article sometime ago to correct an error I saw on an article. I wasn't really active on Wikipedia until 2023, when I started doing minor tasks. From 2024 onwards, I started getting serious with my edits; I started creating and improving articles. I started out editing MRT articles before branching out; My scope is on Singapore topics. I became invested in Wikipedia as I believe our history isn't that accessible to people in Singapore; there is the National Library Board but no one really pays attention to them. Most of our history is at risk of plunging into obscurity.

  • I really don't like Wikiolosphy. Editors have unique editing styles and you're just categorising them as one category. It's a lot like politics; it brings the worst in people. I don't mind if you are "deletionist" or "inclusionist" or whatever, we should all just focus on making Wikipedia a better place. After all, "it doesn't matter if a cat is black or white, if it catches mice it's a good cat".
    • With this in mind, Completionism isn't a writing philosophy per se, more of a representation that Wikipedia will never be finished but we might as well make the most out of it.
  • All discussions should take place in the appropriate place
    • If it's something similar to the topic in discussion (ex: "high-quality source" for FAC on a reliability discussion) then it's okay. Extensive discussions will not be tolerated. If it's something completely off-topic, this should be done at the appropriate venue (ex: concerning the accessibility of my signature should be done at my talk page)
  • Similarly, DO NOT USE MY DISCORD TO CONTACT ME FOR ON-WIKI ISSUES. This should be done in the appropriate venues. It is strictly limited to casual conversation. If you talked to me for a while and send me a friend request, then I'll be happy to carry out any requests.
    • If you need to send anything to me as part of a spot-check, please use my discord.
  • Remember, good faith exists!!!!!!! Act with kindness and decorum. Constructive criticism is welcomed but ad hominem attacks are not.
  • I really don't like enforced QPQs; it takes the fun out of it. If you force a QPQ on my (ex:GA), then you request will not be entertained. At least present it as an option, then I might actually do it.
  • I will typically pass source checks on FAC, not support them, unless all sources have been checked out. This is due to spot-checking being an incomplete inspection of all the sources and it would be inaccurate to say that I support sourcing considering there could be errors in non-checked sources.
