The 2025-26 Grasshopper Club Zurich season is the club's fifth season back in the Swiss Super League, after winning promotion in 2021 and avoiding relegation last season by winning the relegation play-off. The season will start on 25 July 2025. Grasshoppers will also participate in the Swiss Cup, after being knocked out in the round of 16 in the previous edition. This season also marks the first in charge for unknown English manager Jack Forster, who was announced as a shock replacement for former manager Gerald Scheiblehner.
Pre-season and friendlies
[edit]The club confirmed they would take part in the European Challenge Trophy held in Italy, which featured Cagliari, Sassuolo, Rodez AF, Udinese, Arka Gdynia, Exeter City and Pisa, with Zurich set to face Rodez AF, Sassuolo, and Exeter City in their three matches.
