I'm Dre! As my username says, I'm from Italy, specifically Lombardy, even though I have origins from three other italian regions. I have been using Wikipedia for pretty much all of my life, but as of 2025 I just recently made an account and started editing articles both in Italian Wikipedia and English Wikipedia.

I'm still an high school student, and while I do not have degrees or diplomas or similar I have always been a curious person, and I am in fact interested in many (probably too many) topics. I hate mathematics though.

I am an atheist.

My interests

Science and fields of study

As a disclaimer, with this paragraph I do not want to indicate that I am an expert in any of these subjects.

I'm very interested in different fields of study such as biology, medicine, botany, zoology and ecology - everything regarding nature pretty much - , while I'm not a fan of physics, mathematics and similar.

Though, I especially love geography, sociology, theology and vexillology, and I find the study of Earth and us, its inhabitants, the most interesting thing one could ever get into. Furthermore, I like linguistics and language-learning (and I in fact was teaching myself Swedish) and all of the field of study regarding communication.

Finally, I'm very keen on history and geopolitics.

Sports

My favorite sports are Formula 1, basketball and football (note: it's called football, not soccer!), although I lost much interest in football in the last years. Even if I am Italian I am not a Ferrari fan (well, my first team isn't Ferrari: like Vettel said, "Everybody's a Ferrari fan!") my favorite team is McLaren

Regarding basketball, I follow mainly the LBA, and I'm a fan of Olimpia Milano. I don't follow the NBA a lot, but I have a favorite team there too: Brooklyn Nets.

Not much to say about my football interest, really, if not that I am a Juventus fan.

Music

Music is a very important thing in my life. Pretty much every time I'm doing something, I have music in the background playing. While my favorite genre is in general hip-hop, I like a lot of types of music. More specifically, I love conscious hip-hop, funk, modal jazz, RnB, soul, psychedelic, jazz hip-hop, doo woop, boom bap, fusion jazz... the list goes on.

Some of my favorite albums are To Pimp a Butterfly, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Songs in The Key of Life, Call Me If You Get Lost, Contenta tu, Graduation, Mr Morale and the Big Steppers, Illmatic, Isolation, MM.. Food, Bar Mediterraneo, Blonde and so many more.

Videogames

I've played videogames for all my life. My favorite genre are sandbox games and open world games, but I like other things too. Some of my favorite titles include Red Dead Redemption II, Minecraft, obviously, Pokemon Black and Black 2, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Super Mario Odyssey, the Uncharted series, Detroit: Become Human and Assassin's Creed II. There are so many more that I cant probably remember of right now, though.

My major contributions

Sure, major articles are great. Constantly reviewed, updated, with a lot of sources and built with a lot of effort... But what about minor ones? The "underdogs" of articles? I find them so much more interesting! How fun is it falling into the Wikipedia rabbit hole and going through pages of things, people and cities you didn't even know existed and discovering new interesting things, eh? That's why my major contributions are made to articles about small towns and minor cities in my region, Lombardy, and in general in Italy! Give me enough time and enough tomato flavored chips, I'm gonna translate and expand articles about out all of Northern Italy.
