User:CitationAuditor

This is a reminder than when you cite a newspaper article, you:

  • put the title of the article in the citation - the REAL title of the article, NOT "article clipped from [newspaper name]"
  • include the date of the article in the citation
  • Include the name of the newspaper you are citing
  • credit the author if they are credited in the article

When you write an article:

  • DO NOT cite Wikipedia as a source!
  • DO NOT be sloppy with facts (ex, saying a person born in the 1800s was born in the USSR)
  • DO NOT put a BLP tag on a biography of a dead person, ESPECIALLY if they were born over 100 years ago
  • DO get birth dates right (DO NOT say someone was born in 1956 in the article lead but in 1959 in the infobox)

I'm not OCD, I'm CDO - in alphabetical order, the way it should be!
