The Hood Dictionary is the fourth mixtape by American rapper NoCap. It was released on November 19, 2019, by Atlantic Records and Never Broke Again.[1] The mixtape features guest appearances from Quando Rondo, Lil Durk, and Jagged Edge. Meanwhile, the mixtape was handled by a variety of prestigious producers including CashMoneyAP, SephGotTheWaves, Outtatown, Rude Dolph, Jambo, Otxhello, Young Cutta, and YoungKimJ, among others.[1]
The mixtape was supported by three singles: "First Day In",[2] "Ghetto Angels (Remix)" featuring Lil Durk and Jagged Edge,[3] and "What You Know".[4] The mixtape debuted at number 80 on the US Billboard 200.[5]

[edit]The lead single for the mixtape, "First Day In", was released on September 27, 2019.[2] The second single, "Ghetto Angels (Remix)" featuring Lil Durk and Jagged Edge, was released on September 30, 2019.[3] And, the third and final single for the mixtape, "What You Know", was released on November 15, 2019.[4]
Music videos
[edit]The first music video for the song, "Ghetto Angels (Remix)", was released on November 11, 2019.[6] The second music video, "Still Me", was released on November 24, 2019, five days after the mixtape's release.[7] The third music video, "In 4", was released on December 14, 2019.[8] And, the fourth and last music video, "Brag Different", was released on December 19, 2019.[9]
Commercial performance
[edit]In the United States, on November 30, 2019, The Hood Dictionary debuted at number 80 on the US Billboard 200 chart on its first week, which became NoCap's second chart entry.[5] The mixtape peaked at number 39 on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, which also became NoCap's first entry on the chart overall.[5]
