As I metioned on a similar template for NFL coaches, I think it would make sense to organize this by school rather than by coach's name. Any strong opinions either way? The Alabama situation is one example why; no need to keep shuffling them around with each coaching change, and perhaps someone can't remember a given team's coach's name. - PhilipR07:18, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree. With what is pretty much becoming a revolving door in SEC head coaches, it just makes more sense to put them in order of school, rather than coach. This format is used in every other template I've seen (Big 12, Pac 10, Big 10), don't see any reason why this one should be different. Rtr10 (talk) 21:09, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
