Literature

Black Sun

I wonder if the Black Sun really is a good symbol for the template. It was virtually unknown before 1991 and according to my knowledge (I'm a history teacher in Germany, living some 40 kms from the Wewelsburg where the symbol originated) has only limited prominence even today. There is no one, unifying neo-Nazi symbol. Most of the figures and groups here do not use the swastika as their main symbol. It is recognizable and easily differentiated from the swastika, and is probably the most universal symbol associated with neo-Nazism, rather than Nazism (since we have Nazism sidebars we need to differentiate this from), though there isn't really a unifying one.
