There is no reason for Stanisław Leszczyński's name to be italicized, he was a Lithuanian monarch. What does italicization in this case even mean? Marcelus (talk) 15:11, 7 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I changed italicization to mean in this template that the person was a monarch for less than ten years or was a titular monarch.--+JMJ+ (talk) 19:24, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't make sense. Why the arbitrary threshold of ten years? The only "titular monarch" on the list is the so-called Mindaugas II, who wasn’t even a titular monarch—just a proposed one. All the others were actual monarchs. The fact that they ruled for less than ten years is irrelevant. A similar template on the Lithuanian Wikipedia makes no such distinction and also doesn’t include von Urach [1]. Marcelus (talk) 20:55, 15 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
