I request that a new parameter be added for flag (and its formatting) as in {{Infobox state}}, this specific is for the page for Leeward Islands (Society Islands). Juwan (talk) 17:45, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
Not done It seems to me like either your talking about the island geographically, in which case you don't need the flag, or you're talking about it as a political entity, in which case you should use a different infobox. * Pppery * it has begun... 21:47, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
Add field for mean elevation
[edit]I feel as though this field could be useful. For exapmple East Island (Hawaii) has no public info for highest elevation, only the mean. MallardTV Talk to me! 12:19, 29 July 2025 (UTC)
Bug in length_km parameter
[edit]On Jaco Island, the length in the infobox is displayed as "4,2 km (26.1 mi)". "length_km=4,2" is in the markup. Of course, the automatic conversion should read "2.61 mi". (No comment on the extra significant digit.) 128.91.40.237 (talk) 14:53, 27 October 2025 (UTC)
- That is invalid input. I have fixed it and created a test case at Template:Infobox islands/length/testcases if anyone wants to fix the template itself. – Jonesey95 (talk) 15:17, 29 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. I expect Europeans might do this a lot, though. ~2025-31453-37 (talk) 17:07, 5 November 2025 (UTC)
