'channel_url' is not a 'url'

[edit]

'channel_url' is not a 'url'. it's an 'id'. Everyone gets confusing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bcxfu75k (talkcontribs) 16:59, June 27, 2021 (UTC)

"Blue Diamond" button

[edit]

Mr. Beast just reached 400 million subscribers and got a new playbutton which looks like a blue diamond or blue crystal. Can someone add that in?

Currently, this template automatically inserts a reference for subscriber and view counts so long as channel_handle (and possibly channel_id) are used, but when multiple channels are specified, this reference could be confusing or unhelpful. This can be circumvented by using the channels parameter as in the second infobox, but this is not ideal. Could someone change the template so that a reference is not inserted when a second channel is specified, or at least something like a no_cite parameter?
