This template seems to be broken. Example: Anish Giri has a rating of 2793 in August 2015 but the article says "2773". --KommX (talk) 12:02, 18 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is this template required to be updated every month manually?

@Spharish, This template is being updated on monthly basis otherwise there might be some edit conflict to edit data each day. And this process is mentioned on documentation page that the germen version is the base model and enwiki editor just need to copy paste that data.
