Usage

Please note: This template should be transcluded {{WikiProject Chess}} and not substituted (subst) because it employs conditional code. Transclusion also allows easy updating of all the Project's talk pages without having to edit thousands of pages.

Mid	Adds important further details within its field, with some impact beyond it	GA	B+ quality, and also a good article.
Low	Contributes more specific or less significant details, or is mainly of specialist interest	B	A decent article, but it needs further editing to extend coverage or accessibility
Bottom	Not notable for chess aspects, but for which chess is a notable aspect.	C
