{}
Usage
[edit]This template is similar to stnlnk, except that it expands a Station name (capitalized) to link to the appropriate station article, without displaying "Station".
Optionally a second parameter can be supplied to distinguish between identically named stations in different locations.
A third parameter can be used to change the displayed station name.
For example:
Tokyo expands to Tokyo;
Union expands to Union;
Montreal Central expands to Montreal.
- Note:
This template will correctly handle these forms of station name disambiguation:
- Xxx Station (Location)
- Xxx (Location) Station
- Xxx Station, Location
- Xxx (System Station)
Discretion should be used on whether to name the place itself or the station that serves it. In railway articles it is generally preferred to use the station unless specifically talking about the place, for example that Oslo Airport serves Oslo Airport.

[edit]| For new systems and systems in need of maintenance, use the newer Station link (abbreviated stl or slk) instead, which uses the faster and less maintenance-intensive Module:Adjacent stations. |
A number of other templates provide the same function for specific systems:
