Usage
[edit]If an article, file, template, category, module, or other page does not meet the guideline for the use of colours, add this to the top of the page:
{{overcoloured|date=September 2025}}
Alternatively, if the problem only affects one section of the page, add this to the top of the relevant section:
{{overcoloured|section|date=September 2025}}
- If the page is written in United States English, add the
|US=yes
option to spell "colour" as "color" for WP:ENGVAR compliance. Calling the template as {{overcolored}} does this automatically. - This template takes the optional parameter
|reason=
, which can be used to explain what issues need to be addressed, e.g.|reason=The contrast of some of the colors used in this timeline is not high enough to be read easily by almost anyone.
Category
[edit]This template adds articles, files, templates, and categories to Category:Wikipedia pages with colour accessibility problems.
