Creates an attribution statement and links to ship and service craft detail pages in the Naval Vessel Register (NVR) website.

Usage

This template accepts several named parameters:

|hulln= – the ship's hull designator in a form acceptable to {{Naval Vessel Register URL}}

|titlen= – a title for the link to the ship's NVR page; use when the default title is not sufficient

|archiven= – a URL pointing to an archived copy of the ship's NVR page

If you don't provide a parameter, and simply use {{Naval Vessel Register}}, the template returns the default attribution statement:

If you provide the ship's hull designator, the template will return the attribution statement along with a link to the selected NVR details page:

{{Naval Vessel Register|hull1=SSBN-659}} produces this:

 This article incorporates public domain material from Will Rogers (SSBN-659) at the Naval Vessel Register.

Use |titlen= to make a link with a different label:

Use |archive= to provide a link to an archived snapshot of the ship's NVR detail page:

Deprecated parameters

This template also accepts one or two positional parameters:

{{{1}}} – (deprecated) a URL pointing to an NVR page

{{{2}}} – (deprecated) a URL pointing to a second NVR page

If you provide the URL of a ship's detail page as the first unnamed parameter value, the template will return the attribution statement along with a link to the selected NVR details page:

Sometimes the NVR has two detail pages for the same hull under different identifiers. If you provide both URLs in the template, it will return the attribution statement and links to both of the detail pages:
