This template uses Lua:

Template:Metacritic film displays an external link to a web page for film title at the Metacritic website. It is intended for use in the external links section of an article.

Usage

Unnamed parameters: {{Metacritic film | ID }}; {{Metacritic film | ID | TITLE }}

Named parameters: {{Metacritic film | id= ID }}; {{Metacritic film | id= ID | title= TITLE }}

Using Wikidata property Metacritic ID (P1712): {{Metacritic film}}; {{Metacritic film | title= TITLE }}

Instructions

Go to Metacritic.com and search for the film title. Click on the correct link to go to the film's page. The URL should look like this:
https://www.metacritic.com/movie/film-name/
Copy only the portion after /movie/ and add one of the following to the External links section of the article:
* {{Metacritic film | film-name }}

* {{Metacritic film | id= film-name }}

* {{Metacritic film | film-name | Film Name }}

* {{Metacritic film | id= film-name | title= Film Name }}

where film-name is the film's unique ID string as copied from the URL

and Film Name is the title of the film (this is optional, if not specified it defaults to the Wikipedia article name).
