Tarannum Riyaz (9 August 1960 – 20 May 2021) was an Indian writer and a senior fellow with the Indian Ministry of Culture.

Biography

Tarannum Riyaz was born on 9 August 1960. Students in several universities in India have done their M.Phil. and Ph.D. research on the works of Tarannum Riyaz.[citation needed] She lectured in institutions of art and literature in India and abroad. Her books are part of the curriculum in different levels of educational institutions in India.[citation needed]

Death

Riyaz died from COVID-19 in 2021, a month after the death of her husband, Riyaz Punjabi.[1]
