Editors who violate any listed restrictions may be blocked by any uninvolved administrator, even on a first offense.
An editor must be aware before they can be sanctioned.
With respect to any reverting restrictions:
Edits made solely to enforce any clearly established consensus are exempt from all edit-warring restrictions. In order to be considered "clearly established" the consensus must be proven by prior talk-page discussion.
Edits made which remove or otherwise change any material placed by clearly established consensus, without first obtaining consensus to do so, may be treated in the same manner as clear vandalism.
Clear vandalism of any origin may be reverted without restriction.
Reverts of edits made by anonymous (IP) editors that are not vandalism are exempt from the 1RR but are subject to the usual rules on edit warring. If you are in doubt, contact an administrator for assistance.
If you are unsure if your edit is appropriate, discuss it here on this talk page first. Remember: When in doubt, don't revert!

i have found source that state that al Qaeda in Yemen is a rural force and al Mudiyah is under STC control i have also found a source which state Houthi encroaching upon APQA forces form there south east.
yeah probably you write but he is a live journalist probalby based form his picture and you know that could just be his pfp but yeah stc completely eradicating APQA is a bit exgarted but i do believe that the houthi part may actually be correct plus it wouldnt realy be professional of a journalist to be so biased if he want to get the truth but what do i know i guess we have to wait for more info Kowf (talk) 16:41, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
well we aren't going to base our map on a single "reporter"'s reporting. We will have to see if any RS report the same thing that he reported Abo Yemen✉16:47, 9 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
yeah same one my end yemen and ongoing conflicts are hard because of how rare sources are but there has to be something but insahallah we will find a way Kowf (talk) 15:46, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
yeah most of there stuff is belonging to civilian things but i thinks its because this the new year and no one has yet checked plus al Mudiyah is relatively small areas sure it has al Qaeda presence but i don't think it would be all that relevant plus it just seems like an normal city like i was thinking it would be like an openly jihadi city like APQA forces openly in the streets but no its like an normal city which let me partially believe that APQA forces are etheir really good at hiding or they are a rural force and they probably just stay in outskirts but its hard to say at the moment unless somebody takes the risk to go there but i dont think anyone will. Sorry but I won't be updating the map further. The file should be available for anyone to edit through. If someone else wants to update it they can, I will not object. HetmanTheResearcher (talk) 22:59, 24 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There are slight changes in the Hajjah governorate near Saudi and Shabwa's north, and the south of Marib is now under STC control 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨Abo Yemen (𓃵)08:23, 25 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I know that considering the STC Offensive is ongoing and there's little info about it the map can be quick to change, but currently I feel as though the map has been changed far too quick/with too little evidence. Specifically around Tarim and Al-Mahrah Governorate, I have seen no news sources claim that Tarim has been captured (to the contrary, I've seen reports that the STC is currently attacking the Al-Ghuraf area (15°58'34"N 48°59'30"E)), the only evidence I've seen that Shahn Border Crossing was captures remains unconfirmed and I've seen nothing about Al-Ghaydah. @BorysMapping, may you link the sources you used to update the map? IdioticAnarchist (talk) 19:19, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@IdioticAnarchist: This source specifically for Mahrah: link "This morning, in a significant development on the Omani border, UAE-backed forces were able to take control of the strategic province of Al-Mahra, which overlooks the Arabian Sea, without a conflict.".
