Status of Beijing
[edit]Beijing is disputed territory, claimed by both the PRC and ROC. In light of this dispute, Wikipedia should take a neutral stance and not list Xi's birthplace as part of China. He was born in Beijing. Whether or not Beijing is part of the country the world calls China is a matter of international dispute. Blocky1OOO (talk) 21:35, 3 February 2025 (UTC)
- Your proposal and accompanying arguments don't align with Wikipedia's policies (what matters is reliable coverage, not what governments say or want the site to say). This reads like a parody of pro-PRC commentators asking for Wikipedia to list ROC territories as Chinese territory or Chinese Taipei, etc, so I'm going to take it as that.
