Hi Poketama, this article is new enough and long enough. You are QPQ-exempt. I have added the article link to this hook. However, it needs substantial remediation before I can properly consider it for a review. Many passages are unreferenced. Outside of the lead section, an article at DYK must have everything cited inline to a source. Using the user script User:Phlsph7/HighlightUnreferencedPassages will show you all of the areas requiring attention. Separately, given that this is likely not to run in December 2025, we need a less time-sensitive hook fact, of which I think there are a few in here, and preferably a hook that is not about a "first" claim. - I have added some more sources. How about ALT1 ... that the Statewide Treaty was ceremonially signed by leaders putting their handprints on a kangaroo skin? @Sammi Brie: Poketama (talk) 12:05, 22 December 2025 (UTC)
Proposed merge
[edit]Hi everyone,
I have added a tag at the top of this article to propose it be merged with the article for the Statewide Treaty Act 2025 legislation. If we do go ahead with the merger, a title change of the Statewide Treaty Act article might be in order. I think it would be much easier to see all of the content that is available on Wikipedia about Victoria's recent advances regarding their reconciliation with Indigenous peoples in one place. Currently, this article does not have much significant coverage in sources other than primary ones which does not establish notability per WP:PSTS. Qwerty123M (talk) 07:08, 21 December 2025 (UTC)
