About the website

[edit]

The website samsung.com is for Samsung Electronics, so I think the Website part of the infobox should be removed. But I have something worth noting: the Korean website of Samsung Electronics is samsung.com/sec, not samsung.com/kr (redirect to /sec) and SEC stands for Samsung Electronics Company. This means that there may be sites for other Samsung companies in Korean under the domain samsung.com.

Should this be removed or kept? I don't think there is a website for the whole Samsung Group. 105.105.89.67 (talk) 10:30, 30 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The website for the entire Samsung Group is sgsg.samsung.com/main/index.php. Looking at the footer of samsung.com, some information extends beyond just electronics, which might explain why the Infobox uses that link. Also, I couldn't find any prior discussion in the archives about why samsung.com is used on this article's infobox, so changing shouldn't be an issue if you wish to do so. In the History section, Many templates should be used. For example, the Japanese name for Samsung Group (before 1945) (Japanese: 株式會社三星商會; Hepburn: Kabushiki gaisha Sansin Shōkai; IPA: /kabɯ.ɕiki gaːi.ɕa saɰ̃siŋ ɕoːkaːi/) should have a template because of the MOS, it says that Template:Lang or Template:Nihongo is required.

Samsung News?

[edit]

The title is not what you think of. The Controversy Section of the Samsung page sounds like a Newspaper article. ~2025-36469-84 (talk) 01:22, 23 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
