Not a neutral point of view

The Consequences section contains opinions with citations that only back the facts of what is stated, i.e. that there was a budget impasse and that there is a lack of senior congressional members. Out of date

Now this comment is out of date. The section entitled "2020 census" clairifies the last redistricting process. But plenty of editing is still needed.wjk DrWJK (talk) 22:04, 8 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it needs serious re-writing. Issues that came up in years past are discussed as if they haven't been voted on yet. It looks like the article was written long ago, and new sections just added on w/o revising the old sections. Pretty messy for a Wikipedia piece. wjk DrWJK (talk) 21:12, 8 August 2025 (UTC)[reply]

California now has 52 seats in the US House, not 53 as the article states (one was lost due to census)
