Talk:Preselection

Notability etc

[edit]

Preselection is a fundamental process in democratic political systems, though it receives far less scrutiny or research than elections and parliamentary activity. I do not think there can be any question of notability, but the creation of the article was intended only as a stub and will need some expanding. I will leave the tag until i have added some more material. hamiltonstone (talk) 01:39, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deselection

[edit]

Does the (unusual?) instance of an existing elected representative being deselected not merit a wee section in this article? --Mais oui! (talk) 16:20, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Globalize

[edit]

This article definitely appears to be biased towards Aussie politics and appears to either skip over or only briefly mention preselection processes in other countries (like for example American politics or that of certain European countries). There definitely needs to be some globalization here in this article. Hurricane Clyde 🌀my talk page! 02:40, 14 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
