Length of lead

WP:LEADLENGTH suggests that when an article has 15,000 to 30,000 characters then two or three paragraphs are okay for the lead. So I will cut back the lead to three paragraphs & remove the tag. Anythingyouwant (talk) 17:47, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don’t expect any response here at the talk page, so why should I bother making a proposal here? For example, restoration of the merge tag hasn’t been explained here even though someone removed it at the other article. Nor has any alternative way of shortening the lead been suggested here, so that tag can be removed, User:SPECIFICO. Nor has any explanation been given for reverting this edit which inserted a date into a footnote. When edits are reverted for no reason, with no explanation, it’s hard to see what point is served by making formal proposals at the talk page. Misleading and dishonest content

Strzok was not fired because he disparaged Trump and his supporters in private emails. He was fired because he discussed using the Russian collusion hoax as an "insurance policy" to get rid of Trump if he won the election.

Page wrote Trump is “not ever going to become president, right? Right?!” Strzok replied, “No. No he’s not. We’ll stop it.”

Peter Strzok#Text messages, first sentence: The IG's investigation examined thousands of text messages exchanged using FBI-issued cell phones between Strzok and Lisa Page, with whom he was having an extramarital affair. No longer cohosts podcast

Late November, 2024 he "had to leave" his podcast host role with MSW Media.
