Donation to Trump

[edit]

Under lobbying it should include:

Meta agrees to pay Trump $25 million to settle lawsuit over Facebook and Instagram suspensions

As you almost certainly already recognize, characterizing such a settlement as a "donation" is a point of view and not a fact. --ZimZalaBim talk 03:50, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
In the article it states “The payment represents a significant victory for Trump, and another step in Zuckerberg's efforts to court him.”
If you’re courting politicians, that’s lobbying is it not?
Would a separate section with heading “Efforts to Court Politicians” be a more appropriate way to present this information? Uhhhhhhhhok (talk) 04:05, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Mention of the settlement makes sense. Trying to frame it as "courting politicians" seems WP:POV/WP:SYNTH. Since you have only 3 other edits before this, I am concerned you might have a paritcular POV you're trying to insert here? --ZimZalaBim talk 04:28, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
You can frame it how you like but I don’t think I’m allowed to make edits but it should be publicly visible on Wikipedia that they are settling this for $25 million and perhaps add it was a possible attempt to court Trump. Uhhhhhhhhok (talk) 05:57, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

need an anchor for direct access to "move fast" quote, and update redirect link(s)

[edit]

Since other articles (e.g. Disambiguation page) link to Wiki "Move Fast" page that has apparently been changed to a Wiki redirect, e.g. [2],

there should be a direct anchor to the "Move Fast..." quote instead of just History. Also, the redirects should be updated to this new direct anchor (instead of current History anchor). 2001:861:8B80:6ED0:495B:6129:7369:1473 (talk) 08:57, 29 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
