Talk:Lufthansa fleet

Fleet

[edit]

The fleet information about Deutsche AG Lufthansa might have a flaw, while some sources claim it to be correct. The Boeing 747-400 is said to be retired by 2025. But the source to this is a bit outdated, dating back to 2017. Yes this source is claimed to be correct by YouTube, SimpleFlying and the source in the Wikipedia itself. But some sources claim that Lufthansa, instead of retiring the Boeing 747-400, they are going to retire some of their Airbus A380s and later reactivate them in the future. Some sources also claim that Lufthansa will retire their 747-400s in 2025, and later reactivate them in the future. BuddyHeigh (talk) 16:11, 7 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Historical fleet

[edit]

@10-48 Breezy per WP:VERIFIABLE you are required to have sources for the entirety of your edits. The source you added is a dead link - so where are the sources for the historical fleet table? Additionally, why are you removing an existing source to change the numbers? Danners430 (talk) 12:26, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Full disclosure, because I feel it's important to note this here - I was the editor that originally removed large sections of the historical fleet table, here. I did this because it had lain unsourced for a long time, and there were no efforts being made to source it. Danners430 (talk) 12:34, 29 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Persistent refactoring of content

[edit]

Since apparently WP:BRD is dead, and nobody discusses changes and simply edit wars, I’ll get this discussion going…

I feel the following additions aren’t necessary, and in some cases unsourced. Does anyone feel otherwise? [1][2] [3] [4] Danners430 tweaks made 12:54, 14 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
