Talk:Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra

Santhy Balachandran has NO main writing credit

[edit]

The director holds solo screenwriting credit. Santhy has no cowriting credit. In the end credits she is just credited as an additional writer and dramaturgy. This is NOT sufficient for sharing writing credits on Wiki infobox. KLDE123 (talk) 05:55, 18 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

The citations says otherwise.
Santhy Balachandran has contributed to the additional screenplay.[1][2]
If you have references to prove your point, please provide them and then we shall proceed. Thanks. — Benison (Beni · talk) 06:41, 19 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That's exactly what I said. She has contributed to the additional screenplay. She doesn't have main screenwriter credit. An 'Additional screenplay' credit doesn't make her eligible for main writer credit on the Infobox. KLDE123 (talk) 11:01, 23 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Why not in Infobox? See MOS:FILM. — Benison (Beni · talk) 12:41, 23 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I am going with what most of the RS say. Hence added a note. There's no source that is reliable and gives sole credit. Additional or not, screenplay is co written by her (as the sources say). Hence we can't simply take it out. — Benison (Beni · talk) 15:04, 23 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
There are many Hollywood films with additional screenplay, additional cinematography and additional composer credits. They are not treated as main credits. Steve Mazzaro has 'additional music' credits in Dune: Part One, Dune: Part Two and F1. But only Hans Zimmer is given infobox credit. Madhu Ambat is given additional cinematography credit in Shyamalan's 'Wide Awake'. But he is not given Infobox credit. KLDE123 (talk) 09:14, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
See what the references say, man. She is credited as co-writer in multiple references. Go through the references. I don't care if she is recognized or not. I'm going with what the references say.[3][4][5][6][7] — Benison (Beni · talk) 09:22, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Please see the MOVIE credits. Dominic has solo writing credit (main). Santhy has an additional screenplay and dramaturgy credit in the closing credits. No Hollywood movie article on Wikipedia credits an additional screenplay writer with the main writer(s) on infobox. As I said, Steve Mazzaro has 'additional music' credits in Dune: Part One, Dune: Part Two and F1. But only Hans Zimmer is given infobox credit. Madhu Ambat is given additional cinematography credit in Shyamalan's 'Wide Awake'. But he is not given Infobox credit. In Interstellar, James Carlson is credited as a composer for 'additional music'. But he doesn't share the main credit with Hans Zimmer anywhere, including Wikipedia. Lorne Balfe is credited as a composer for 'additional music' in Dunkrik, Rush and Inception. But in none of these films he is credited alongside Hans Zimmer anywhere, including Wikipedia. KLDE123 (talk) 21:41, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Seperate list of cameo

[edit]

give a seperate list for cameos Its a malayalam film, not other languages. Give common mollywood film Wikipedia style feature please Rohith Kishan P (talk) 12:11, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Why? This article follows standards set by MOS:FILM and WP:ICTFMOS guidelines and doesn't matter if it's malayalam or whichever language. Manual of style in Wikipedia doesn't change. Camoes aren't listed as bullets in anywhere and not required in this article either. — Benison (Beni · talk) 12:54, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Benison Ok
another unrelated issue
Dromedary Camels also occurs natively to Ondia, in Thar Desert. Its distribution map don't includes India. Check it soon. Rohith Kishan P (talk) 14:52, 24 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Bangalore

[edit]

The movie makers confirmed in an interview that the city the movie is set in is NOT Bangalore (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPxjX70_4Mw). However, YouTube is an unreliable source. How shall we deal with this? Thilsebatti.

Wait for a reliable source to publish that info. There's no deadline in Wikipedia. — Benison (Beni · talk) 15:12, 26 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]
