Image choice - Why a red Koopa Troopa?
[edit]Green is by far the most common and recognizable colour of Koopa Troopa from the Super Mario series. Is there a reason why the red Koopa Troopa render was chosen over a green one, such as quality or copyright-related issues? 84.69.3.175 (talk) 14:16, 20 April 2024 (UTC)

Koopa Troopa → Koopa – "Koopa Troopa" is a specific enemy type subset of the Koopas, and it's odd that this page is named that. One example proving this is this article. The general enemy grouping that includes Bowser is simply called Koopas, and should be named as such on Wikipedia. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 22:26, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
- Oppose - the article is primarily about Koopa Troopas, and not other "koopas" like Bowser, Kamek, etc. I believe that's a WP:COMMONNAME too. For instance, in most games where he's playable, like Mario Kart World, the character is listed as "Koopa Troopa", not "Koopa". Sergecross73 msg me 22:43, 12 September 2025 (UTC)
