Terms Common Usage
[edit]When talking about the terms used in Israel for the area, from my experience "the Territories" is more common than "the West Bank" among left wing circles but from my experience where you born and raised matter more when it comes to this terms Multiverse Union (talk) 14:13, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

Unfortuantely, this page discusses a very narrow Palestinian narrative, much of which is skewed. I would expect Wikipedia to at least try to include balanced information. This entire page needs to be rewritten. 109.226.59.2 (talk) 08:47, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

Change "The term Judea and Samaria serves as another name for the West Bank in Israel." to "The term "the West Bank" serves as another name for Judea and Samaria in Israel."
Judea and Samaria are names that have been around for thousands of years; the term "the West Bank" was encouraged upon Jordan by the Soviets in the 1960s in an attempt to dilute Jewish identity with the area. Stones365 (talk) 20:50, 20 September 2024 (UTC)

- I have the say, for me, the name of the act alone is enough reason to add it to the article for readers - 'Retiring the Egregious Confusion Over the Genuine Name of Israel’s Zone of Influence by Necessitating Government-use of Judea and Samaria (RECOGNIZING Judea and Samaria) Act'. Hello, please change the map in the article and replace it with a map without the Golan or with the Golan but in a different color, as it is occupied Syrian territory and is not part of Israel by law. Also, please change the text under the map and refer to the Golan as the occupied Golan. جودت (talk) 18:49, 8 August 2025 (UTC)
