Unexplained blank and redirect

@QalasQalas: I have reverted your blanking and redirect of this article to List of Somali pirates as this created a circular redirect, because that list includes this article. Redirecting this article is effectively deleting it and should be discussed first. I created this article then I noticed the page should be merged despite lack of notability, but it's not WP:STUB unlike Bileh and Abshir Boyah, later that is why I created a list for redirecting.

Reason for Redirecting is WP:CRIMINAL and WP:ONEEVENT.

Piracy off the coast of Somalia is clearly notable, as that long and well-referenced article demonstrates. As it is long, having a daughter article to list Somali pirates is helpful for readers, and hence I argue that it warrants a stand-alone list.
