[edit]Needs much discussion of Highmark's provider network to form an Integrated Delivery System. Highmar, Inc. now equals Highmark Health Services (formerly Highmark) and Allegheny Health Network — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.80.110.216 (talk) 16:27, 12 October 2013 (UTC)
Highmark Health
[edit]This article needs updated in order to account for the fact that Highmark Health is now the parent company with Highmark Inc. a subsidiary of Highmark Health. This will likely require a new page to be created that covers Highmark Health and then this page will need updated to only reflect information on Highmark Inc, the health plan business. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Srg0425 (talk • contribs) 16:15, 10 July 2018 (UTC)
Company Status
[edit]The article states that this is both a Profit and a Non-Profit. Pick one..... 50.207.162.133 (talk) 18:27, 28 March 2025 (UTC)
- It is a registered nonprofit that operates both nonprofit and for-profit subsidiaries.
- The confusion occurred because previous editor saw that they had made a positive net revenue (i.e. “profit”) and changed the word “nonprofit” to “for-profit” in the introduction, but this is not correct. A nonprofit can make a “profit” in a given year; they just have to reinvest it into their programs. Galagora (talk) 01:07, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
